The Longest Winter of My Life

I’m writing this on my iPhone, because my bag with my laptop charger is still at JFK airport.

I cannot escape this winter. Two weeks ago, I was excited because I was headed to Mexico. But I became trapped in a wintry Texas. Now I’m back again in Manhattan and I see snow and gray out my window.

I’m reminded of the phrase, “Make plans, and God laughs.”

I am happy, however, to see my sweet cat DC. It’s also nice to see my neighbor A and my friend S again. I’m so glad to have friends in my physical vicinity.I am happy, however, to see my sweet cat DC. It’s also nice to see my neighbor Amy and my friend us again. I’m so glad to have friends in my physical vicinity.

Indoor dining is open again in New York City. This is good news. I also heard that Broadway is re-opening in October 2021! Here I come.

Mercury retrograde may be over, but the retrograde shadow remains. It’ll be another week before I can comfortably make plans.

Regardless of retrograde or not, I subscribe to the belief that it’s best to keep plans close to heart until they are fully ready to reveal to the world.

I’ll check back in soon. Can’t wait to have my suitcase with all my stuff in it back safe and sound.
