Baguettes and Busy Days

Compared to yesterday morning’s 2:30 AM wakeup, this 7:30 AM seems late. I am already dressed and got my coffee, if you count leggings and a t-shirt as dressed (IMO, as long as it’s not the same clothes I slept in, it counts.)

My hair still looks pretty and kinda curly; I curled it yesterday with a barrel wand and I almost like it better the next day. It’s already pinned up in a bun, now, but I’ll definitely be enjoying it throughout the day.

Today is a little busier schedule-wise that I want it to be. So, do I use my adult privilege and bail? Or do I use my adult follow-through and show up? I haven’t decided yet. Hopefully the latter.

DC is sleeping out of sight somewhere; she generally takes a morning nap after her breakfast. She has been awake longer than I have, surely.

Three things I’m thankful for from yesterday:

  1. Got to see and spend time with S.
  2. In New York City, someone can deliver anything within an hour.
  3. I ate delicious Vietnamese food (think dipping baguette in curry.)

Signing off for now,
